On Sisterhood, Starting, and the Message That’s Been With Me All Along

—REPUBLISH FROM HER WAY HOME
Last week, I hosted our first-ever Sisterhood Circle.
It was a sacred, vulnerable space — and yet, something within me shifted even more deeply after we ended the call. It led me down a quiet but powerful path of reflection. I found myself sitting with this question:
What is it that I’m really building?
Is Her Way Home just another membership community? Or is it the vehicle for something much bigger? A message. A movement. A remembering.
The message I’ve carried all my life
In the hours that followed our gathering, I kept returning to this deeper inquiry:
What is the message I’ve carried every single day of my life, and what is the message I now feel ready to share with the world?
I’ll admit - it’s not always easy to put these thoughts into words. Especially when the mind kicks in, trying to make it “sound right” or convince others of its worth.
But something cracked open last night.
I found a structure. A framework. Something that finally holds the depth of what I’ve been trying to say for years. (More on that soon.)
For now, I want to stay with this moment - the one where I remembered how important it is… to start.

The mind resists transformation
Our minds are trained to keep us safe. To prevent us from the unknown, from failure, from risk, and in doing so, they often resist transformation. Even when the transformation is exactly what we long for.
And so, our higher self .. our most aligned, expansive, and creative self .. can feel… terrifying.
But there’s only one way to show our minds that this next version of us is not only safe, but possible.
We must try.
We must begin.
We must show up for the dream we carry, not just in our thoughts, but in our choices.
A gentle nudge for your path
If there’s a dream sitting inside you that you’ve been too afraid to commit to — I offer you this invitation:
Pause and reflect on these questions:
Who am I serving by not bringing my gift to the world?
What might “trying” offer me in return - if there were no restrictions or limitations?
Does my dream deserve my love and dedication?
Let these questions stir something awake within you. You don’t need to have the whole path figured out. You only need the courage to take the next step.
As I continue to listen, learn, and build from this place of soul, I’ll be sharing more about the structure that found me last night. I think you’ll see yourself in it.
Until then - here’s to honouring the gift.
To trying.
To starting.
To sisterhood.
